Trinity College Foundation Studies just celebrated its 25th anniversary yesterday. And we sure all know how to party in style.
The event started at 11:30am, the famous “free period” where everything is going on. I came to Bulpadock overwhelmed with the music, the festive atmostphere and people with red caps everywhere. Talking about standing out.
After a few small speeches, we all sang happy birthday to us, and most importantly to Trinity. The cake was cut, and the party began.
For the next hour or two, we just lost ourselves in music and dance moves. I don’t dance, but it was really nice to see everyone there all having fun and celebrate. I got to catch up with old friends and teachers, and we all talked about how surreal it is that Trinity is already 25 years old.
Looking around campus I imagined how it’s like 25 years ago and what have changed since then, about the many generations of students have considered this place home like we do now. But I know there’s something that hasn’t changed and will not change: the spirit of Trinity, the spirit that will follow us for the rest of our lives.
